Most of my parents' collection of player pianos, mostly reproducers,
will have to be sold soon. These were purchased unrestored from
sellers in Central Missouri from 1972-1974, and most are still in
pretty much the same state now as they were then: not in playing
condition, but not harmed by bad restoration, either.
The collection covers a wide range of mechanical music history:
Ampico, Duo-Art and Welte reproducers, an English cottage piano with
a pumper mechanism, a Themodist and others. The pianos themselves
include Steinway, Chickering and Steck.
Some of the pianos have had some work; I can't provide many details,
but I will gladly share what I know. I would love to see them go to
someone who understands them, so if you are interested, please touch
base with me and I can provide more information and put you in touch
with the executor of the estate. My contact information is here:

reach me.
