Ivory Sale and Possession in New York State
By Thomas Binnall

It's very sad so many pachyderms died to satisfy the vanity of humans,
for whatever reasons. Piano ivory is to be relished and protected,
though not admired, except that what is left must be treated with every
respect to honor those who died to provide it.

I'm interested in assembling a large group of people who, in speaking
for the elephants, don't want the destruction of piano keyboards by
officious officials whose only goal is to control. To destroy complete,
good keyboards, made 70 or more years ago, is to fly in the face of
those poor creatures who died. Destroying the existing keyboards is
like killing them twice.
