Hi All, I have a copy of the Wurlitzer 155 CD, "Music for Carousel
Lovers", but it's so scratched that I can no longer play it; in fact,
my computer doesn't even recognize it. While it'd be nice to find
a copy of this I still hope that I can somehow clean the old disk,
being a CD I've had since I was about four years old! I'd like to
see if I recognize any of the other songs.
Not reading the jacket of the CD until a few years ago, I thought that
a bunch of the songs were just misidentified, but apparently were just
put with those odd titles such as "Giraffe Waltz" as it looks better
than half of the songs saying "unidentified".
What I _do_ know, though, is that on the on the Kit Carson County Carousel
web site, there are two songs I know: "The Royal Lion's March", a title
assigned to the unidentified song, is "The Peacemaker March" by Beverly
Everett. It is quite a good march, and a stellar arrangement of it, too.
Also on the website, it's already been said that "The Waltz of the Zebras"
is "Smarty", but that was a few years ago so, again, the title is "Smarty"
by Albert Von Tilzer.
