Happy New Year MMDers! I just went through my first Christmas
Holiday with my new turn-of-the-century audio visual experience --
a 1917 Schulz player piano. I had a great time entertaining the
family and friends and, as a result, I received numerous gifts
of player piano rolls.
Some rolls needed repairs so I built a roll repair table. Most have
minor issues like missing tabs or rough edges; however, a very few have
sections with missing notes.
I was wondering if anyone has tried the reverse of scanning rolls to
MIDI files, that being the taking the scanned MIDI files and trying to
cut the missing notes into the repaired roll. Has anyone tried or even
perfected a method to do this?
Best Regards,
Steve Goode
