Hello Everyone, I've bought a two-manual organ console on eBay,
complete with its 18 foot pedals (already detached). It's the center
console of a Robert Morton Fotoplayer, Style 49, about the size of
a spinet piano, or just a little larger.
It has to be moved from the Bay Area of California (El Cerrito) to
Jefferson, South Carolina. There are no pipes or harps, so the console
weighs only about 160 to 180 pounds, and the pedals another 50 to 75
pounds.
Inexpensive is good for me and quick is good for the seller, who wants
it gone! It's in fairly nice shape, but will have to be refinished,
in any case. Blanket-wrap shipping is better than crating. Does
anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks,
Jim Blanco
Jefferson, South Carolina
