Calliope Vacuum Pump Requirements
By Paul Calman

[ Ref. "Seek Pressure & Vacuum Pump Units for Calliope", by
[ Gene Calman, in 141216 MMDigest. -- Robbie

I delivered Dad's Tangley calliope a few days ago. The player
system appears to be in good condition but I had to use my skills as
a machinist to rework the swollen large gears to restore clearance
and make the mesh smooth and free.

We have tried a few shop vacuum units to power it and it appears that
there is not enough suction; the tank bellows does not collapse and
the motor runs weakly. Does anyone have a specification for vacuum
and flow?
