Regarding the recent article [141219 MMDigest] and link showing the
Mills Violano playing the "Nut Rocker", http://youtu.be/BOAuQIwzgCw
I noticed the well-finished Violano, and also the violin appeared to
have a good thickness of varnish. Question: Will too much varnish
affect the violin's tone and/or volume, being that the friction wheels
for the strings have their limitations, not like a 'live' person
playing. I hope there is someone to comment on this.
