Jonathan Holmes asked about the current status of Keystone Music
Roll Co. They are indeed in business with lots of new and interesting
reproducing and 88-note music rolls available, but reaching them by
email can be somewhat challenging. Richard Groman, owner and operator
of Keystone, is often a little slow in his email responses. The best
way to reach them is by telephone, 1-610-392-5455, in Pennsylvania,
Eastern Time Zone. Richard will usually answer the phone or return
calls. The Keystone website is http://www.keystonemusicroll.com/ and
the email address is keystone@ptd.net.geentroep [delete ".geentroep"
to reply].
Keystone is an excellent source of high quality reproducing rolls and
vintage recuts of collector quality 88-note rolls, most with words
printed on the roll. The usual patience in ordering and receiving
rolls is more than rewarded by the playing and listening pleasure of
the music when received.
AMICA members will soon be treated to an article and picture review
of Keystone's upgraded facility in the AMICA Bulletin as part of the
pending "Music Roll Perforator's" series of articles.
