Refinishing Seeburg Coin Piano Components
By Robert Loeffler
Hello All, The original Seeburg green is a bluish-green color. The
only way to exactly match the original color is to double stain the
wood. I use a green concentrated dye stain and then go over it with
a blue concentrated dye stain in which gives it that very slight blue
tent like original. I've used this method to touch up just parts of
a pump and you can't tell the difference at all to the original. Click

As for the semi-flat black paint that I use quite often in restorations,
years ago I could buy it at Home Depot and it was made by Krylon.
Since then they changed the product number and moved it to their
industrial line. It's the same formula as Peavey uses but re-labeled.
The new number is K01613A00. You buy it six cans per box. The best
price I found was $4.73 a can which is almost half of Peavey's price.
Here is the link where I buy it:

Happy Restoring!
