Strange Player Action in Broadwood Grand Piano
By Julian Dyer

This is one of Broadwood's own player actions: look at the whole
underside of the piano packed with pneumatics. That's why it's
got a perfectly normal Theme-accented tracker bar.

Broadwood top actions bear a strong resemblance to Hupfeld ones.
Broadwood fitted all sorts of player actions over the years:
very early in-built 65-note Pianola actions, Hupfeld, their own,
several others, and in later years Ampico. The eBay offering is
well overpriced and probably the least desirable player you'll
find in these pianos.
