UPS Shipping Label Errors
By Gordon Stelter

Don Teach's comments on shipping a motor [140805 MMDigest] reminded
me of this fiasco. I know someone who tried to ship a bass string to
Schaff Piano Supply Co. for duplication, only to have UPS send it to
a slum-house in Chicago's "inner city" (where it promptly disappeared).
The reason? UPS's computer system puts an address on the shipping
label based upon similar addresses in its database.

So _always_ be sure to check the label UPS prints (based upon what you
wrote on the form) to be sure that they match up.
