I am saddened today to learn that a long-time friend has passed.
I had counted on Bob's talents for many years as well as the friendly
chats over the phone, which was always an interesting time spent.

I talked to Bob generally every six months or so sometimes just to
check up on him.  I could at any time over the years call him up
for some obscure part that I needed and he would shortly send me
exactly what I needed with a minimal description of the part from me.

His expertise has been invaluable to the resurrection of reproducing
pianos.  He will be impossible to replace and very missed.
