Dear all, A couple of years ago I purchased a quantity of fifteen
88-note Pianostyle piano rolls from an antique shop in Harlech, on
the Mid Wales coast. These were what I thought were the best from
a collection of about 90 rolls in total, the majority of which were
either Pianostyle, Parex or Muvis. These were so good that I wished
afterwards that I'd bought the lot, but that was of course in
hindsight!
There is one roll, particularly, that I can't find out about at all.
It's a brilliant roll arranged in really over-syncopated Pianostyle
fashion. The title is "Grand Imperial March"; there is no other
information apart from it being a four-handed arrangement. The
Pianostyle roll number is 46389.
Could anyone shed any light about who composed it and also if there
are any Internet sources available out there which might help similarly
identify a number of other Pianostyle rolls in my collection?
Best regards,
Peter Clarke
