[ Ref. Wallace Venable in 140404 MMDigest --
Hello MMD, I held off on today's 140404 MMD, as I was sure someone
would correct this already; alas, no, so let me be the one:
> Spaanse Ruitermars - Spanish Riding March
It's "March of the Spanish Riders", more freely translated as
"March of the Spanish Cavalry".
> Gouden Hartserenade - Gold Heart Serenade
Even in English this would be the "Golden Heart Serenade".
> Raupenbahnmars - Raupenbahn March
The "Caterpillar Ride March".
> De Negentigermars - The Nineteenth March or possibly
> 19th Regiment/Brigade/District March
Neither! It's the "90er March".
> Serenade Nr. 1. - Serenade No. 1.
There are more Serenades (e.g. we have a Serenade No.10) -- how many
of them are Carl Frei? Maybe someone more knowledgeable can chirp in...
Musically,
Ingmar Krause
