"Titebond" comes in several "flavours"! The "liquid hide glue", by
Titebond, is quite similar to the gluepot variety, with the addition of
(if I recall correctly) urea and glycerin. It dries quite slowly, often
requiring overnight drying times. It will "let go" upon application of
heat, and doesn't creep appreciably more than gluepot glue.
True, the Titebond wood glue is like "Elmers on steroids", and I wouldn't
use it on a piano or organ! The liquid hide glue seems okay, though.
Thoughts and corrections are welcome!
