Seek Copies of Aeolian 8-note Chimes Roll
By David Evans
We need someone who can scan and make two or three copies of a player
roll. The roll is unique in that it has only 8 notes and is "music",
or more accurately, chime sequences, for a church bell playing player.
The player console was made by Aeolian in the 1930s and uses their
standard 88-note roll format and tracker spacing and includes 8 note
holes, auto shut-off (the same as an electric Duo-Art, with which the
console shares many components) and a few other holes for control
purposes. The church possesses just one roll with no spares or back-up!
We rebuilt the entire device last year and it can be seen operating at:

The videos are somewhat ad hoc and done on the spur of the moment!
If anyone can help please contact me at the email address below.
Thanks!
