MIDI File From Video of Piano Keys

That's very, very cool, and for a first pass it's excellent. There are
a lot of little timing errors, and the mechanical/software engineering
side of my brain wonders what the source of those errors is. Is the
roll that jumpy (probably not)? Is it sluggishness or misinterpretation
on the part of the piano mechanism? Does it have to do with the frame
rate of the video (which is probably pretty slow)? Is there something
in the software that is causing some kind of rounding error?
It will be fascinating to find out.
