Dear friends from all over the world, Here is the new La SeriNET
No. 90, in English, with its videos about mechanical music. As you
noticed, it is published in the French magazine Musique Mécaniques
Vivantes and is freely available on the web site of the AAIMM
(Associations des Amis des Instruments et de la Musique Mécanique):

What would you like to find in these videos? Do you want to learn,
to understand, to discover, to see underneath? Do you want to be
astonished? Do you want to hear good music?
La SeriNet is like the proverbial Spanish inn where one can find what
he has brought in himself (a French proverb sounding like a potluck!).
So, send your own videos -- that's the way! Do not forget: "A video a
year makes me a good partner." Some (a few) of you do; why don't you?
Let's try this La SeriNET 90 with what we have found this time... What
will mostly amaze you in this issue ?
- Is it this fair organ playing rough contemporary music? We are sure
that the organ is well tuned, as the next video shows a very good
classical melody: Roses from the South
- Is it this virtual video from Animatic 3D playing good music with
very delicate movements of the "arms" and "fingers"?
- Is it this barrel flute orchestrion, like a small Welte, from
Zähringer, Furtwangen, which is very rare (only two remain)?
- Or is it this Regina music box with MIDI player?
We hope you like them all...
While you are at it, have a look at the web site of the Association
AAIMM: http://www.aaimm.org/ You can now find complete articles
with videos of instruments playing inside them at the "Témoignages"
