Ampico Expression Pneumatics Opening Distance

Last night I recovered the expression pneumatics in my Ampico A,
replacing the Bilon covering that I had used in 1977.  I replaced the
cloth as it was leaky (after all those years), causing many problems.

The opening distance I measured of these pneumatics is 20 mm.  The
Ampico is now sounding as it should, proving how important it is that
these pneumatics be fully airtight.
