Were it that the regulations for taking piano ivory across the USA /
Canada border not subject to interpretation. I've taken a 1923
Boesendorfer back and forth to our Canada house for years and never
encountered any difficulty at the Blaine, Washington, crossing.
Somehow the regulations need some serious challenges so that old
pianos aren't devalued by ignorant persons at the boarder with
nothing to loose.
