Red Welte Rolls Converted to Licensee
By Allen Ford

1) I am very thankful that Richard Tonnesen had the rolls recut in
the American format and also to Ken Caswell for supplying the originals
to be copied. I also thank Ed Gaida for offering to consider a second
recut [140326 MMDigest].

2) I purchased all the rolls offered the first time I found them
available and they are a fine group to own. The rolls I have were
recut by Play-Rite.

3) At least some of these rolls were available in Purple Seal rolls,
as I own the following:

P 1472 Sonata (B minor, parts 1 & 2) Chopin Olga Sameroff

P 324 X. Hungarian Rhapsody Liszt Alfred Reisenauer

P 1032 II -- Legend of St. Francois d'Assisi (Walking on the Waves)
  Liszt Bernhard Stavenhagen
