This is not a horror story, but another recommendation for Ron Brewer.
He has been recommended six times before in MMD, but it has been about
a year so I will add my two-cents for those recently looking for a
mover.  You can find his phone number in the MMD Archives.

Ron travels back and forth across the country as requested by
collectors who telephone him, and then he schedules trips as necessary.
The first time I called him he gave me estimated dates and quoted a
price for Florida to Missouri.  He arrived at the seller's a couple
days late, but not without keeping the seller informed.

He arrived at my house with two assistants, two Sprinter vans and a
trailer.  The instrument was blanketed and shrink-wrapped, and they
rolled it right into the living room on a dolly.

Ron is very discreet and would talk about his itinerary only in general
terms.  I did see one non-musical antique in the van, so I guess he
will deviate a little but his main love is mechanical music.
