Ampico Hammer Rail Lift Problem
By Bruce Clark

Check the pneumatic that activates the hammer rail lift. Recently
I found one where the pneumatic cloth was not glued properly and was
just sucking air when it turned on. Re-gluing the pneumatic cloth
fixed the problem.

Also, some of that pneumatic cloth that was used a few years ago is
now crumbling and leaks badly. Check the pneumatic for tightness.
