John Phillips was asking about extension on the Solo Carola rolls.
I have a working piano and have been collecting the rolls for ages.
There are very few of these pianos still in complete condition.
I had placed a request and some details of them on the MMD a few
years back and still get enquires from members who want information
about them.  Surprisingly, another in complete condition has turned
up here in New Zealand.

All my rolls have that extension on the base end of the roll.  However
I think that the roll end is complete with that piece on it.  The end
pulls out from the roll okay but I cannot see how that extension is
separate from it.  I am certain it doesn't as I have a roll with that
piece broken out and you can see where it was part of the original
fitting and broken off.

If the person who has the piano in Australia contacts me I can show him
the roll end.
