Preserving the Music of Music Rolls
By Dave Haibach

Lee Rothrock wrote in 140226 MMDigest, "I have rolls which I have
played ten times a day for weeks without observing any damage.
What's going on, John?"

In response to Lee's comments on John De Carlo's post: Are we
overlooking here the natural aging of paper, unless of course you are
accustomed to ritually keeping them hermetically sealed, out of any
sunlight or certain artificial lights, in a dry environment and maybe
in a vacuum... I can see your point.

I would suspect he meant normal environment here.

Regards,
Dave Haibach - In Them Thar Hills of Kentucky
