Sealing Leather Pouches
By Thomas Binnall

I'm sure some here were aghast when I suggested using Hubbard's shoe
grease to seal pouch leather. I've been using it for 50 years without
any issues. I apply talcum over it. I maintain a Duo-Art who's
accordion pneumatics I did in this manner in 1966, and the leather is
still strong, serviceable and air tight.
