Wurlitzer 165 Music as Tracker Bar Image Files

I am wanting to archive all of my Wurlitzer 165 rolls as "tracker bar
image" MIDI files using a single track of 75 keys.  I realize that such
a file would not be playable on a computer without a lot of editing,
but it would make recording and playback much easier for me.  It would
be a lot like a file to run a perforator.

Has anyone else used this method?  Are there any reasons why it would
not work properly?
