Moving Character Mechanical Music Decorations
By Claudine Jones

Several years ago I bought a whole set of sound-activated moving
bugs, made in Japan. I have to say, I much prefer this to the
Disney moving characters, since I get to choose the music the
bugs move to.

I pose the instrumentalists in a semi-circle in front of their
grasshopper/conductor and the pianola music activates them. (Two
of the nine have developed faulty sensors; I have to do something
about that when I get around to it.)
