Treating Leather in Player Pianos

Well, since almost everyone else has an opinion, I guess I should,
too.  Bag balm works great on cow udders, why not pouches, too?
What I have found to work well also is Hubbard's shoe grease.  Pouches
are instantly tight after one application, it retards rotting and is
easy to apply using Q-tips.
