The Half Duo-Art Player System
By Paul Collenette

Responding to Randolph Herr and others, I refer to these players (but
not necessarily in the hearing of their proud owners) as "Mono-Art".

And you have to hand it to the Wilcox & White people who, not to be
outdone by Duo-Art, cheekily added a further dimension with their own
brand-name, "Artrio".

Regards,
Paul Collenette
Devon, U.K.

P.S.: A 19-year old saw my shelves and asked "What are all those
boxes?" So I showed him a piano roll (and later a cylinder record
which he picked up and said, "How nice to have music in physical form!)
and got him to pedal it, which he found intriguing. So, all may not
be lost, but we must keep educating the young.
