Matthew Caulfield's MMD posting of the death of Rich Olsen made me
very sad.  I knew Rich for about three years, never met him in person,
but I considered him a friend for the considerate and unselfish way he
treated my requests for band organ arrangements and tune information.

He went above and beyond what was asked of him and made the result one
of excellence.  You saw the creativity and effort in everything he
produced.  I am glad to have known him, even for such a short time.
I will treasure his memory.
