This seems like a "newbie" question, but I haven't purchased pouch
leather in ages (pun intended -- I think!). Which do people prefer:
buying the pre-punched disks, or buying a skin and punching their own
discs? Which is more economical? (I have a hard time figuring out
how many discs I can get from a square foot of skin.)
I am assuming I can turn a suitably-sized punch in my lathe from
pipe or tubing and avoid the $100 or so cost of an Arc punch (they
get expensive over 1" in diameter!).
Thanks!
