As I was looking over a lot of rolls obtained from an eBay seller in
Missouri, I found a number of rolls with the label "Evans' Artistic
Rolls", out of Chicago. They're all rather short, as rolls go, maybe
12 to 15 feet. Furthermore, having already scanned some in and
listened to them, they seem to be really badly done, some with missed
punches or poor figuring of the melodic line.
From the paper condition, I'm guessing these were made in the late
1910s or early 1920s. Very little turned up on a Google search of
the name, so I guess they're just another one of those ill-fated roll
companies. Attached is an image of one label, just to enter it into
the "Internet record".
