In MMD 131001, Ross Schacher was seeking a MIDI file of "She Was
Just A Sailor's Sweetheart". There's a lively version of this song
on Richard Stibbons' page of piano roll karaoke files:
http://www.stibbons.com/karaoke.html
This arrangement was transferred from Atlas 923 and includes lyrics
added by Tom Lear. The scan from a severely-damaged 88-note roll was
performed by Larry Doe, and there are some notes about it on this page:

Two other arrangements on Richard Stibbons' page that I'd recommend in
particular are "Invercargill March" and "The Jefferson Davis".
Files on that site have the extension ".kar", which is associated with
MIDI karaoke applications, but KAR files are actually just standard
MIDI files, so you can simply change the extension to .mid if required
by your particular playback device.
For a free Windows MIDI player that can play this file and display the
embedded lyrics, check out VanBasco's Karaoke Player at

This program has been around for a long time, and as of this writing,
its installer is outdated, even though the program itself still runs
fine on modern Windows. If you're using a version of Windows newer
than Windows XP, you'll need to right-click on the installer and select
"Run as administrator" in order for installation to be successful.
