Marantz Vorsetzer Solenoid Voltage
By Brian Thornton

Hi all, I have just acquired a Marantz Vorsetzer unit. I wish to
modify it for my roll arranging and transposing purposes. I would
like to know the maximum voltage and amperage for the solenoids that
play the keys.

Many thanks in advance,
Brian Thornton

[ I recall that the peak applied solenoid voltage in the Pianocorder
[ is 180 volts. The safe continuous D.C. voltage is much less, so
[ that the coil doesn't overheat. -- Robbie
