I just heard from Jack Niewoehner who advises that Alvin Johnson,
of Farmersburg, Iowa, passed away in May of Parkinson's disease.
Alvin was a long time member of AMICA. His estate is to be auctioned
Saturday, September 28th, in Dubuque, Iowa. I've posted a notice to
this effect on AMICA's Facebook page, and on that of Player Piano Talk.
The auction includes seven reproducing grand pianos, three uprights,
numerous upright player pianos, numerous player organs and organettes,
many parts and tools, and a number of other interesting collectibles.

The only picture I have of Alvin goes back many years within our AMICA
Bulletin. If anybody can come up with something a little more current,
that would be appreciated.
