Of course this is only one small area, but here interest in classic
cars far outweighs interest in mechanical music.  In our small county
of 50K people, there are two classic car groups, and two road-riding
motorcycle groups, while there is to my knowledge _one_ person
interested in mechanical music: _me!_  In the almost 40 years that
I have lived here, I have met _no-one_ who has any such interest!

Cars touch the lives of all of us here so we are used to them, while
I have seen but two player pianos, and three reproducing pianos, all
in my collection.  No large musical boxes, or coin-op instruments of
any kind.  Sad, but true!
