Repairing a Head Turning Singing Bird Box

I just finished repairing the internal mechanics on a Charles Bruguier
singing bird box; it was a 10-hour effort.  There are only a handful
of pictures in fairly expensive books detailing how these work, and no
videos.  I made a video demonstrating how the head turning bird works
with a cutaway view of the mechanics.  Please excuse the focus as
sometimes it gets less clear (for a few seconds) due to the small size
of the bird.

I thought this video may help a mechanical music enthusiast tackle a
repair or restoration project on these highly complex and expensive
singing bird boxes as very few restorers work on such mechanical music
