Hello -- My dad has an unknown orphan player stack that he was given
some time ago and, because we have no use for it, it is time for it
to go to a new home. It is of a variety where the striking pneumatics
face forward and push down on levers that lift up in the back. It is
completely unrestored, in reasonably good condition, but would need
a complete restoration and repair before it could be used again. Other
than there is no spoolbox it appears to be complete, although I cannot
be sure that there aren't any small items missing. It has been stored
in a dry garage.
Pictures are available to assist with identification. What you see is
what you get. If there is anyone that can identify this and has a use
for it, they can have it for free if locally picked up in the Seattle,
Washington, area.
Also, I have a friend driving a station wagon to the AMICA convention
in San Francisco (passing through the Seattle area one week from today)
that has agreed to transport it to the convention for free if anyone
attending the convention or living somewhere in the Bay area would be
able to come pick it up there. Please do not request it to be
delivered if you are likely to change your mind; I do not want my
friend to be stuck with this, as he will not be returning to Seattle
after the convention.
I could arrange for it to be crated and shipped, but that would likely
be expensive and the cost of that would be entirely up to whoever wants
it. It would be great to see this go to someone with the ability to
use it, as it does no good for anyone gathering dust in the garage.
Thank you and best regards,
Troy Taylor
