Musical Box Waltzes by A. T. McDonald

Luuk Goldhoorn showed me a score with three waltzes composed for a
musical box.  The composer is A. T. McDonald.  I cannot find him in
any encyclopedia.  Does somebody know who he was and the dates of his
birth and death, and from which year date these three compositions?
