I have just received announcements of two additional organ rallies,
both in July.
20-21 July -- Second Annual Band Organ Rally at Conneaut Lake Park,
Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania, from 1 to 9 P.M. If you are interested
attending with your band or crank organ contact Stacey Adams at
(570)590-3666 or adamsstacey2@aol.com.geentroep [delete ".geentroep"
to reply] (Contact Stacy, not the Park Office.) He requests that you
RSVP by July 13th, providing the type of organ you will be bringing as
well as the amount of space you will need and any other necessities
such as being under cover or electricity needs. Dinner will be
provided on Saturday evening courtesy of Adams Amusements.
27 July -- Organ rally at the Connecticut Trolley Museum in
East Windsor, Connecticut. See http://www.ct-trolley.org/ for
museum information. The museum hours are 10:00 AM-4:30 PM. Plan to
arrive before that time so they can direct to safely into position.
If you have an instrument small enough to carry you may be assigned
to ride a trolley. Larger instruments will be placed around the area
of the museum. Please contact Vincent Morgan at (718) 479-2562 if you
plan to participate. They will have free admission, free trolley rides
and a barbecue when the park closes.
