Bleeds for Secondary Valves
By Donald Barton

[ Ref. 130612 MMDigest, Aeolian Primary Valves Have No Bleeds --

A clarification on my previous post about bleeds, I was mistaken.
There is indeed a bleed strip for the primary pouches. The lack of
primary bleeds was not my concern. My question was trying to determine
the reason for such unusually large bleeds for the secondary pouches,
just shy of 3/32".

One response was if it isn't "broken" don't "fix" it. I won't be able
to tell if it's under-performing until I have it reassembled. I'm
simply inquiring to see if anyone has had any experience with this type
of valve with such large bleeds and if so, did they modify them.
