FS: Welte Vorsetzer in California
By Spencer Chase

I have a one-of-a-kind Welte Vorsetzer for sale. It was partially
built by Jim Miller, who also made the three-system Vorsetzer for
Joe Tushinsky. Since then it has been rebuilt and has had many
additions including an E-Roll Player so now it plays both rolls and
E-Rolls. There are too many features to list in this e-mail so please
contact me if you are interested.

I have not played the thing much in the last five years but I have
given it a basic test. It certainly needs a full regulation and might
need some minor repair since pneumatic cloth is not what it used to be.

If recovering of striker pneumatics is necessary (not likely) this
would not be too much trouble since the pneumatic are all screwed on as
opposed to being glued on. The whole thing is made so that maintenance
is about as easy as it can be for a pneumatic player. This is a one of
a kind item looking for the right owner. It can be set up to play
anything from a small upright to a convert grand.

I am most likely going to be at the AMICA annual meeting in San
Francisco this summer and I can bring the Vorsetzer if I have a buyer
or someone very interested in it.

Best regards,
Spencer Chase
