For sale: a rare 1921 Ampico reproducing grand piano by Chickering.
It is 5'6" in length, and has lived its entire life in the Bay Area
of California.  It was owned by one family from 1921-2000 and the
other 2000 to the present.  The player mechanism was reconditioned
and rebuilt around 1970.  At its sale in 2000, two separate Guild
technicians felt that the tone of this instrument and the feel of the
action were truly fantastic.  Until 2007, the player worked perfectly.
That year, the next owner put it in storage for a short amount of time
in the Bay Area; upon moving it to their new home, the movers caused
some superficial surface damage and at this point the player stopped
working.

This piano includes a large number of rolls (about 70), all original
and good condition.  It also includes a matching bench.  This sale is
"as is".  Payment must be made with cashier's check or money order.
