Building a Transparent Player Piano Action Model
By Jurgen Goering

I remember seeing a Swiss technician who was replicating a small series
of Hupfeld Violinas. He created Plexiglas covers to the control
boxes so that he could monitor the functioning of the pneumatic
controls during play. It was quite fascinating. Once the units were
completed and tested, the covers were replaced with wooden ones.
