FS: Seeburg KT Special & 25" Symphonion in UK
By Nicholas Newble
Impending job relocation forces me to put two items up for sale
in the UK, either can be viewed and heard. Will sell outside the
UK if buyer arranges transport.
1) Symphonion Style 192 (plays 25" discs). Plays very well on an
old penny, but some sympathetic vibration buzz occurs when the door
is completely closed, stops when door partly opened. Supplied with
about 30 discs. Dimensions: 34" wide by 19" deep by 82" high (without
pediment mounted) or 95" high (with pediment mounted). No missing
teeth on comb, starwheels are good. Any sensible offer considered.
2) Edgerton Seeburg KT Special (plays 65 note style 'G' rolls).
Plays exceptionally well as seen on YouTube (search channel "nickn5nl"
for Seeburg KT Special). Supplied with 16 rolls and 1 test roll.
Dimensions: 46" wide by 24.5" deep by 65.5" high. Has been fully
converted to run happily on UK mains voltage with transformer
supplied, but supplied also with original USA belt and pulley.
Plays using USA nickels or UK 20p coins. Any reasonable offer
considered; as a guide, I paid 14,000 for it a couple of years ago
-- this being a would cost to buy one from the USA with shipping
and duty. I need to sell though.
If you want to know more about either please contact me at

Thanks,
Nicholas Newble
