Hi All, I have a 1918 or 1919 'A'-scale (normally 5'8") Knabe Artrio
Angelus piano. The case is extended to 6'4" to incorporate the 8"
deep stack that goes between the fall board and the action. The pouch
pneumatic via wire lever depresses capstans in the top of the keys
just behind the fall board.
The piano has been in storage since 1989 but I recall it as looking
like the details on the picture of the Wilcox White recording piano.
I have moved twice so it may be hard to find the photos of it. The
Philadelphia Chapter of AMICA visited my Baltimore city home in the
1970s or '80s and there may be a photo in the AMICA bulletin.
