Style 150 Wurlitzer Roll 13266
By Matthew Caulfield

Brian Beard asks for a copy of Wurlitzer roll 13266. That is a good
6-tune march roll issued by Wurlitzer April 12, 1944. The same six
tunes were issued on style 165 roll 6689 and style 125 roll 3238.

According to my online style 150 roll catalog, copies of the 6-tune
original were owned by Mike Grant and Bill Luca. It was recut by
Play-Rite as a 12-tune roll [merged] with another 6-tune roll, but
I don't know which one. I also have a notation that copies of the
original roll are owned by FP and DZ, but as my memory grows dim with
age, I no longer remember whose initials they are.

A loose copy of the 12-tune recut is probably more easily findable
today than a copy of the 6-tune original would be. Bill Luca used to
have copies of his rolls recut, but I don't know whether 13266 was one
of them.
