PVC-E Adhesive on Bellows Hinge Ends
By Larry Schuette

I found John Tuttle's PVC-E drying tests interesting and I have
also noticed the slow drying problem when gluing material to material.

When I do the hinge ends, I glue the first flap down to the wood with
PVC-E glue. I then grab the Aleene's Tacky Glue bottle to glue the
second flap down, material to material, and then drag my thumb nail
several times across the material to press and squeeze out any excess
glue. This thin layer of Tacky Glue seems to dry fast without the
need for air contact.
