The rolls are marked Farrand Organ Company.  Did they play only on the
Cecilian push-up players and why the Organ Co. reference?  If you look
in the Bowers Encyclopedia in the player organ section you will see an
advertisement for a Farrand player organ.  Well, I found one, and have
not heard of another unless someone else has one.  Is there another?

Mine is in an oak cabinet just like the pictured model and was shipped
to a silver mining town in Idaho for use in a saloon.  (I wonder why
they did not get a piano.)  About ten years later it was moved down
the street to furnish music for the nickelodeon theatre.  The rolls
would have been great since the "William Tell Overture" and "Poet and
Peasant Overture" were in the batch of rolls.  The Cecilian rolls also
work on the piano players as well.
